Welcome to the Bureau's Virtual Tours of the White House created with software from Virtus Corporation. The tour is accessed through the Virtus Player. To view any of the tours, first exit from this program, then click on one of the Tour icons in the Inside the White House group. Depending on the speed of your computer, it may take up to a few minutes to load the player.
Once the player is loaded, you can travel along on prerecorded path by pressing the play button, or you can travel at your own pace by clicking and holding the mouse down in the walkthrough window. At the bottom of the player screen is a toolbar. Context sensitive help appears on the bottom of the screen for all the buttons on the buttonbar. For additional help, there is a standard "Windows" help file.
